Title: Lower tail asymptotics for Galton-Watson branching processes .
We report on some new proofs for the asymptotic behavior near zero of the martingale limit of supercritical branching processes that were recently reported by P. Mörters and M. Ortgiese (Bath) and which may be generalised to a broader class of settings.
