Title: Multivatiate fractal interpolation functions and probability.
By using the theory of iterative function systems(IFS), non-tensor product multivariate fractal interpolation functions defined on rectangular and hyperrectangular grids are constructed, with a probabilistic interpretation. Linear spaces consisting of these functions are introduced and the relevant Lagrange interpolation problem is discussed.
