Title: Measure valued processes, queues, and SRPT.

This talk will describe several related measure valued processes that are useful for studying various queueing systems. The measure valued processes encode more information about the queueing systems than traditional performance measures such as queue length or workload. This extra information facilitates new scaling limit theorems. Results for several queueing systems will be described, and some more detail will be given for recent work on queues employing the Shortest Remaining Processing Time discipline.
