Title: Integral geometry and geometric probability.
We will take a quick trip through integral geometry and geometric probability, starting with its roots in the work of Buffon, Barbier, Crofton, Sylvester et al., and proceed to developments of current interest such as Ambartzumian's combinatorial integral geometry and connections with the Radon transform, symmetric spaces and the geometry of convex bodies.
