Title: Isoperimetry in Gaussian Space
Abstract: Isoperimetric problems in Gaussian spaces have been studied
since the 1970s.
The study of these problems involve geometric measure theory,
symmetrization techniques, spherical geometry
and the study of diffusions associated with the heat equation. The
talk will provide an overview of the main results, open problems and
techniques in the area as well as a number of applications to discrete
probability and theoretical computer science.
