Title: Perelman's entropy for the Fokker-Planck equation on complete Riemannian manifolds
In 2002, G. Perelman introduced the so-called W-entropy and proved its monotonicity
along the Ricci flow and the conjugate heat equation. In this talk I will briefly
recall Perelman's heuristic interpretation on how to introduce the W-entropy, and then
present some recent work on the monotonicity and rigidity theorems of the W-entropy
for the Fokker-Planck equation on complete Riemannian manifolds.
