Course materials.

Some quick comments on file formats.

When I distribute materials, I will distribute them in an appropriate format.  If more than one format is possible, I will distribute more than one format within reason.  Generally, HTML looks the worst when printed but can be viewed by a browser.  Postscript (PS) looks the best when printed, but postscript files tend to be larger than others, and not everyone has a Postscript viewer for their screen.  (There are free viewers available.  A popular one is called ghostview which works with ghostscript, a wonderful little utility.)  Finally, PDF is compact way to print or view files.  The acrobat viewer is slow, but free.  Printer output is readable, but not great.

The final exam.

The final exam place, date and time has been set!  It will be Thursday,  May 23 from 7 to 9 pm  in Ewing 205.

The lecture notes.

The lecture notes are only available in PDF and are intended to be viewed rather than printed.  Any changes from the class notes beyond fixing typos or grammatical errors will be listed in the revision notes.
