- Vector Field Theory: Sections: 15.2, 15.4-15.5, 16.3-16.a, 16.8-16.96
- Fourier Series & PDEs: Sections 17.1-4, 17.7, 17.11, 18.1-18.3, 19.1-19.3, 20.1-20.3
Additional topics may be added at instructor's discretion.
Homework
Homework will be assigned and collected regularly. Late homework will not be accepted.
Assessment
Assessment will be based on homework, two hour exams
and a final exam.
No make--up will be given for
a missed hourly.
If you miss an hour exam due to an illness or an emergency
your final exam score (%) will be used in place
of the missed test otherwise you will get a zero.
In the case of illness a note from a doctor is required. You may not miss
more than one hourly exam.

Grades
Final grades will be determined as follows:
Hour exams (50%), Final (35%), Assignments (15%).
Letter grades will be awarded according to the following scale.
If your overall score falls in the range indicated you are assured of the
corresponding grade.
90-100% (A );
88-89 (A-);
86-87 (B+);
80-85 (B );
78-79 (B-);
76-77 (C+);
70-75 (C );
68-69 (C-);
66-67 (D+);
60-65 (D );
55-59 (D-);
0-54 (F ).
