Service:
- This year I am serving as
the Chair of the Department.
Teaching:
- I am not teaching this year.
Research:
My research is generally in numerical
analysis and scientific computing. My principal interests are
finite element methods applied to problems in computational
electromagnetism,
and inverse
scattering
problems.
Book:
Finite
Element Methods for Maxwell's Equations has
been
published by Oxford
University
Press.
Papers: Most of the papers in my bibliography have appeared in
print. Some of my unpublished papers are available next:
- Error estimates for the Ultra Weak Variattional Formulation of the Helmholtz Equation, submitted for publication (with A. Buffa).
- Wave number explicit bounds in time harmonic scattering, to appear in SIAM J. Math. Analysis (with S.N. Chandler-Wilde).
- A finite difference delay modeling approach to the discetization of the time domain integral equations of electromagnetics, submitted for publication (with X. Wang, R.A. Wildman and D.S. Weile).
- The PML for rough surface
scattering, submitted for publication (with
S.N. Chandler-Wilde).
Journals: I am involved with the following journals:
