How to use the Pendulums Tool

Click the mouse on [Linear (SHO)], [Simple Nonlinear], [Damped Nonlinear], or [Forced Damped] to select a pendulum model.

Setting Initial Conditions

• Click the mouse on the phase plane to set the initial conditions for a trajectory.

Time Series Buttons

• The buttons labeled
  [Position]
  [Velocity]
  [Acceleration]
  turn the time series graphs on and off.

Other Buttons

• [Clear] removes all trajectories from the graph.
• [Pause] stops a trajectory without canceling it.
• [Continue] resumes the motion of a paused trajectory.
