| Discussion: | The discussion will be synchronized with the lecture. It will be a time to ask about homework problems or other course material. If you have a question, ask it, because it is likely that others students have the same question.
On Tuesdays (unless noted), discussion will end with a 10 minute group assignment. Students will work in pairs to answer questions about the current course material. Only one assignment is to be handed in per pair. On Thursdays (unless noted), discussion will end with a 20-30 minute quiz. Sections the quiz will cover will be announced on the Tuesday of the same week (and most likely posted on the website). Makeup quizzes will be given at the sole discretion of course instructor. |
