Homework assignment 2

Due: Wed 9/10/08, start of class.

  1. Create a script file that makes a simple plot as in section 5.1 of the Beginning Matlab problems. Print the contents of this script file in a diary. The command "type filename.m"will display the contents of such a script file.
  2. Create the table of section 7.3 in a diary file. You can make a script file to do this, or type it in while the diary is recorded by matlab. If you do it with a script, show the script, then execute it.
  3. Show the results of section 11.2, the second part only, in a diary file. This may also be done via a script or by typing in the commands.
Do put your name, the course, etc in the single electronic file that you email to me. You can send a single diary file (it may take a couple of attempts to create the diary you want) or you can put the diary files in a Word or similar document. Just send me one file.
