  1. There will be no make-up examinations, except where mandated by university rules. If you should miss an examination, your other scores will be averaged provided you have a valid excuse from the Dean's Office or Health Center. Unexcused absences will result in a grade of zero. You must take the final on the announced day and time.
  2. NO late homework will be accepted. Homework is to be handed in will generally be assigned on a Friday, and will be handed in the following Friday. There will be approximately five problems in each assignmant.
  3. You may consult with others, but the work you hand in must be your own and NOT copied. For complete information on the University Policy on Academic Dishonesty, consult the on-line Student Handbook at

    Duplicates will receive a grade of F.

  4. You are guaranteed the following grades if your percentage score meets the cut-offs:
    A_ ≥90%,B_ ≥80%, C_ ≥70%, D_ ≥60%, F < 60

  5. Note that the drop date for the semester is Tuesday, April 16 which is after spring break.
