Multilevel Coarse Graining Monte Carlo methods for stochastic lattice systems

In this talk I will present a Markov chain Monte Carlo method for accelerating microscopic simulations for sampling dynamic and equilibrium properties of stochastic lattice systems. Based on well known properties of coarse graining techniques the method is characterized by the coupling of scales and types of interactions. I will present applications exhibiting phase transitions and nano - pattern formation that verify the efficiency of the proposed method compared to conventional sampling.
