Past and new non-overlapping domain decomposition methods for the Helmholtz equation

Abstract: In this talk, I begin by reviewing the non-overlapping domain decomposition method in the case of the Helmholtz equation. I'll spend some time explaining the difficulties, mainly related
to the choice of the transmission conditions in order to speed the convergence of the iterative method.
Finally, I'll describe a new method that solve this problem and whose convergence is Quasi-Optimal.
