Here we outline a typical
choice of courses for students in the applied mathematics or
mathematics PhD programs. The tables assume that the student starts
in the fall of academic year one with an undergraduate degree in
mathematics.
The actual sequence of courses taken by any given
student is likely to differ from this sequence based on individual
needs, interests and when the student enters the program.
