- My primary interest is studying how secondary teachers introduce and cultivate proof and proving in their classrooms, particularly in the high school geometry course. I am also interested in exploring the teaching of mathematics through discourse analysis and teachers’ use of curriculum materials. Currently, I am working on an NSF-funded research project with colleagues at Michigan State where we are developing professional development materials related to mathematics discourse in secondary classrooms.
