Prof. Rossi has accepted a position as a founding editor for the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics' newest journal, SIAM Undergraduate Research Online (SURO). The goal of SURO is to publish the best of undergraduate research in applied and computational mathematics. The new journal will publish papers authored solely by undergraduate students or teams of undergraduate students. The respected and experienced editorial is charged with applying professional peer review to the unique needs of undergraduates, including a fast turnaround time from reviewers and a rapid acceptance-to-production time-line so that students will see their work published before they graduate in most circumstances.
