Congratulations to this year's Department of Mathematical Sciences Putnam Competition team. Team members Bobby DeMarco, Spencer Tofts and Alison Gordon ranked 66th in the competition. Stephen Johnson also participated and served as first alternate for the team. This annual competition included 3753 contestants from 516 institutions. Special thanks are due to Professors David Bellamy and K. N. Ranganathan for their work in organizing and coaching the team.
