Collaboration with Morgan State University

Early in 2004, administrative officials from the Morgan State University (Maryland) and the University of Delaware, signed an agreement of cooperation between their Department of Mathematics and our Department of Mathematical Sciences. Morgan has been proudly teaching mathematics to a diverse group of students since 1869. Of the group of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Morgan has one of the very strongest mathematics departments. We have begun a regular joint seminar in analysis, we encourage graduate students to take courses at both institutions, and we intend to share supervision of undergraduate research projects.
