IMPORTANT: Check-in for George Read Hall is located on the first
floor of the Christiana
Towers complex. If you are using a shuttle, be sure to have
it deliver you there.
Off-Campus
Arrangements for off-campus lodging have been made at the
Newark
Super 8 Motel. These rooms are available June 10 through June
15. There are high-speed internet connections available in this
motel.
Parking/Maps
If you are staying at George Read Hall, adjacent parking is
included. If you are driving or want to park in a different lot,
on-campus parking permits are $10/week. Please contact Michele
Schwander at
schwande@math.udel.edu by
June 1 if you will need a parking pass so we can place one in your
orientation packet. If you will be checking in at the dorms/hotel
before workshop registration on Monday, we will leave the
orientation
packet at the front desk so you can use the permit on the first day.
Dining
Lunch will be provided for all participants on Monday-Thursday.
Dinner will be provided for all participants on Monday and Wednesday
evenings. There are a number of locations to dine on Main Street
within easy walking distance of both lodging locations. A list of local
restaurants will be provided in your orientation packet.
Computing
Computing resources will be provided for all participants in one of the
University's computer classrooms. For
participants with laptops, wired and wireless Ethernet access will be
available at the Ray Street dorms, in the math
building, and at or near the meeting rooms. Access is contingent upon a
UD employee registering your laptop, which
can easily be done on Monday.
