Students must take CISC621 Algorithms
and one of the following:

  • MATH 607 Survey of Scientific Computation.
  • PHYS 660 Computational Methods in Physics.
  • CHEG 827 Chemical Engineering Problems.

In addition student must also take courses from three different departments from those given in the table for a total of 15 credits. One course must be at the 800 level (CHEG 827 does not satisfy this requirement).

Student with sufficient background may waive up to 6 credits to replace one or both of the required courses from the required course list with the approval of the advisor. No credits may be transferred from another University or degree program toward this certificate.
