Using Maple outside the lab

Maple is available at many PC sites on campus - please check the University of Delaware IT Help Center.

Maple is also available on the central unix servers of the University which is accessed from an X-terminal site. Instructors should set up an account for the class so that computing done on the composers for this course draws money from this account. Please read the instructions (pdf version, latex version).

Maple on the unix servers may be accessed from the dormitory PCs but the software package Exceed must be installed on the PC. This software is available free to UD students - search the IT Help Center  for instructions. This package helps the PC emulate an X-terminal so the
instructions for using Maple at an X-terminal must be followed.

Students may also purchase copies of the student version of Maple from the bookstore.
